Melton Technology, Inc. (MTI) Offers Fleet Management Software Training at its Headquarters Location

September 20, 2007 - Winston-Salem, NC – Melton Technologies, Inc. has initiated a series of training sessions at its corporate headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC, for those fleets which desire additional, focus training on any of the MTI trucking software modules.

Current sessions are being conducted on the recently-introduced Horizon SQL product, but fleets are able to select from the long list of MTI trucking software modules for basic introductory, refresher, or advanced  training needs dependent on the knowledge level of the fleet participant.

Ron Hudnell, Vice President & General Manager for Melton Technologies, Inc., states, “We have found that some fleet managers and owners prefer to send their personnel to our headquarters training facility so that they can more closely concentrate and get a full appreciation of the many advantages and benefits of the Horizon trucking software.  Sometimes in the heat of the busy fleet’s normal operations, it is difficult to give full attention to an incoming trainer.  So getting away from that daily activity allows the person to be trained in an environment that is more conducive to learning and retention.  The Horizon trucking software is so comprehensive, versatile and feature-packed, that we definitely want that full attention of the fleet’s operational staff so they can easily grasp the many cost-saving and revenue-building aspects of the software.”
