Langford Inc. Receives the PeopleNet Innovator Of The Year Award for Tier 1 Fleets

September 20, 2007 – Winston-Salem, NC - Melton Technologies, Inc. is extremely proud to announce that one of the many fleets using its Horizon trucking software, Langford Inc. based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, was the exclusive recipient of coveted  Innovator Of The Year Award for Tier 1 Fleets at the August 2007 PeopleNet User Conference in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

To qualify for the honor, Langford Inc. had to meet and excel at certain criteria designated by the PeopleNet technology and executive teams.  Participating companies had to:  have less than 100 trucks in their fleet; be recognized as forward-thinking innovators with the PeopleNet mobile communication hardware; be early adopters to further advance PeopleNet technologies through new and creative solutions and participation in industry test programs; be aggressive leaders in defining positive, ROI-building product and system integrations; and be collaborative fleets which use a broad spectrum of system services and value-increasing options.
